The »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵ District of Albany, in partnership with the Albany Institute of History and Art (AIHA), will exhibit its 11th annual Elementary Art Show June 6-June 8.
"The event is one of a kind and is a special opportunity for our young artists to showcase their talent and inspiration," said »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵ District of Albany Fine Arts Supervisor Kate Wright.
Pieces from all 12 of the district's elementary schools will be in display in the Rice House at AIHA (125 Washington Ave.):
- Friday, June 6 from 5-7:30 p.m.
- Saturday, June 7 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
- Sunday, June 8 from noon-5 p.m.
The opening reception on June 6 will also feature the William S. Hackett Middle »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵJazz Club, beginning at 5 p.m. in the AIHA foyer.
Admission is free June 6-June 8 for participating students and their parents/guardians.
