The Capital District Urban »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵInvitational Art Show is an opportunity to highlight the artwork of local, urban art students and explore their unique view that is reflected in their artwork. This is a way to celebrate those qualities with a new opportunity that will allow art students specifically from urban settings to share their work with a wider audience.
This show is not a juried show, all the artwork submitted by teachers was included in the show. There is not a strict theme to this invitational but rather a focus on the urban art student. Work that was selected was based on a student’s unique experiences, expressiveness, or mastery of technique.
