Volunteers

Requirement: All volunteers at the university are required to complete “ƹƵSafe Title IX Training” prior to their volunteer service.

Tracking: Departments will complete the ƹƵGeneral Volunteer Checklist.

Requesting Volunteer Title IX Training Access: 
  1. For volunteers affiliated with UAA, UAS, or ƹƵSystem Office:
    1. The ƹƵdepartment sponsoring the volunteer completes the account request / sponsor form and submits it to Nanook Tech Services.
    2. Make sure to check the “Blackboard” box.
    3. Nanook Technology Services will notify the user once the request is completed.
  2. For volunteers affiliated with a UAF department:
    1. Follow the Canvas access instructions on the .
  3. Volunteers will log-in to the platform that is applicable to their affiliation and can immediately access the "ƹƵSafe Title IX Training ":
    • DO NOT WORRY! This is the same training regardless of the platform selected. If you’re affiliated with multiple campuses, you may take either training without repercussion or tracking issues.

    2. : The training appears under "My Courses" on the volunteer’s ƹƵLearn landing page when they log-in. 
Once completing the course the volunteer can print out the completion certificate.
