»Æ¹ÏÊÓƵFoundation seeks nominations for 2018 Edith R. Bullock Prize for Excellence
FAIRBANKS--The University of Alaska Foundation is now accepting nominations for the
2018 Edith R. Bullock Prize for Excellence. The award of $15,000 is presented to an
individual who has demonstrated excellence in support of the University of Alaska.
Any »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵstudent, faculty, staff or volunteer who has made a significant contribution
to the university’s mission is eligible to be nominated.
The deadline to submit complete nomination packets, including application, resume
or curriculum vitae and letters of reference is December 1, 2017. Any material postmarked
after midnight on the deadline date will be considered for the following year’s prize.
Nominations may be mailed to the »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵFoundation at PO Box 755080, Fairbanks, AK 99775
or electronically submitted to dory.straight@alaska.edu.
The Edith R. Bullock Prize for Excellence is the largest single award made annually
by the »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵFoundation’s Board of Trustees. It was established in 1989 through a generous
donation from the late Edith R. Bullock, who served the university for 30 years as
a member of the »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵBoard of Regents and the Foundation’s Board of Trustees.
