Elementary Summer Program
Our Elementary Summer Program will emphasize hands-on learning, arts and crafts, interactive projects and creating a dynamic atmosphere that inspires curiosity and joy.
While academic instruction remains a component, the focused priority will be on enriching experiences that allow students to explore new interests, build friendships and develop a love for learning beyond the typical classroom experience.

Locations
This program is offered in-person at two locations serving all elementary schools. The table below shows which of the locations students from each elementary school will attend.

Enrichment providers
The academic morning portion of the program will be staffed by district teachers. The afternoon enrichment portion of the program is operated by either the Boys and Girls Club or the YMCA. Whether your child participates in the Boys and Girls Club or YMCA program will be primarily determined by their home school, but please note that both enrichment programs offer similar content.
Transportation
Families will be eligible for transportation to and from the program if they live 1.5 or more miles away from the program site.
Meals
Breakfast, lunch and snack are provided each day as part of the program.
In general, this program is by recommendation only for students who meet specific academic growth criteria.
Staff contact specific students and recommend that they attend the program.
