Record-breaking number of donors for ƹƵGiving Day 2026

April 3, 2026

ƹƵGiving Day 2026 resulted in a record-breaking show of support for the University of Alaska. More than 3,000 donors made it the largest fundraising event by number of donors in UA's history, a remarkable milestone.

The purpose of ƹƵGiving Day is to engage people with the university, and this year we accomplished that goal. All of the participation resulted in a cumulative gift impact of more than $1.1 million.

This year, students were invited to participate by writing  thank-you letters to donors and recording “thank you” video messages. To see all that ƹƵGiving Day 2026 accomplished and watch a heartfelt thank-you video from students, visit
